Yuzhkuzbassugol
In 2005, Davis Derby won the company’s largest single contract when they were awarded the contract to supply 10 multifunctional gas monitoring and control systems for the mines of Yuzhkuzbassugol Company in the Kuzbass region of Western Siberia. The systems supplied were complete environmental monitoring and control systems and included ventilation control for the mines development headings. The equipment supplied included Minewatch PC21 controllers configured to monitor mine gasses and also control switchgear. Information on the mine gases and operation of the relevant switchgear is transmitted and displayed on the Davis Derby MineSCADA systems in the mine's control rooms.
